Did you know that there were once hundreds of wolves in the park? But by the 1970s, scientists found no evidence of a wolf population in Yellowstone.

Today, thanks to the work of hundreds of people including park rangers, there are at 14 packs here in the park, with an average of 9 wolves per pack. Hooray!
